Comments about Last Leaf's
programs for young audiences.
It was a wonderful gift you have given these children.  All of our children fall below
the national poverty line.  A play is something I would bet most have never seen.  In
my class, two-thirds of the children are ESL.  Your play gave them a way to make
sense of English.  The children laughed and interacted.  I could see they were
understanding the story.  It was wonderful to watch them be so engaged.

The recent performance of "Who Stole the Queen of Hearts' Tarts?" was
outstanding.  Everyone enjoyed the performance and had a good time trying to
guess "who done it!".  It is our pleasure to support local theatre and we were treated
to a great play that was truly enjoyed by all.

...It was an excellent first exposure to theatre for our children.   For days after the
show they were inspired to spontaneously create and perform their own shows- a
perfect example of an early literacy activity that also inspires a love of the arts.
... I was impressed with your ability to travel to the center, improvise your stage and
set to work in the space provided, and deliver a quality, age appropriate play that
delighted our young audience.

SCRIPTS FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS AND HIGH SCHOOL
DRAMA CLASSES
Last Leaf productions is beginning a program in September of 2011 that offers
performance rights to elementary school instructors and high school drama
programs.   All the scripts have been successfully performed and well received
by our audiences since 1999.  Scripts are approximately forty-five minutes
to
one hour
in length and are designed to be age appropriate for your group of
young actors.
The scripts are offered through Winking Kat Books.  For more
information visit their site at
winkingkatbooks.com.
Thank you, again, for a great performance!  The kids really enjoyed it along with the
teachers!  We loved all of the characters and hope to have you back again next year.
We also appreciate the little flyers you passed out.

Last Leaf gave a wonderful presentation of "The Search for Bigfoot" for an audience
of 240 plus students at the Darrington Elementary School.  They remain reasonably
priced, and they never fail to educate as well as entertain..
